long set longing

every once in a while i like to play a long set. by that, i mean at least 4 hours. the sets i play at most parties average an hour and a half. that's enough time to create a heck of a lot of fun on the dancefloor, but not enough to really take people places. long sets give me the chance to let the sound and mood evolve through several different stages, and i think the audience ultimately finds that more rewarding. that, and sometimes it's all about me (there, i said it).
so what am i doing just sitting here writing about it? ...i'll let you know when i can get my next long set scheduled (feel free to suggest a date in march that works for *you* if you like. sometimes it's all about *you* too, you know).

daily thought #1

why do most records have those long boring breakdowns in them? this is a profound question, i know.
