i'm up already - my flight's way too early! i'm leaving for holland today. jondi & i have lots of stuff to do here, but i guess it's as good a time as any. very much looking forward to seeing lots of dutch friends at earth this friday! will fill you in when i arrive...

actually i have a long list of stuff to do since we're bbqing for 20+ people tomorrow, but it's all stuff i like to do. like making marinade for a 10lb brisket i will cook overnight tonight. making bbq sauce too, plus listening to lots more tunes today because i'm starting to prep for a europe trip. tunes and bbq = spesh heaven. here's the recipe for the bbq sauce in case you want to try it yourself:
coke barbecue sauce
2 cups coca-cola
2 cups catsup
2 cups white vinegar
1-1/2 tablespoon black pepper
3 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon salt
3 tablespoons sugar
1 large onion, chopped fine
mix all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. reduce heat and cook slowly for 1 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
